Jeramey Anderson is an American politician from Mississippi. He serves in the Mississippi House of Representatives for the 110th District as a Democrat and has held the seat since 2013. He was born on December 6, 1991, in Pascagoula, grew up in Moss Point, and graduated from Moss Point High School. He earned an associate degree in criminal justice from Pearl River Community College and a bachelor’s degree in homeland security from Tulane University. At 16, he started a nonprofit to mentor young men. He is Catholic and was named an “Early Riser” at the 2015 BET Honors. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Mississippi Future Caucus with Rep. Shane Barnett.

In his political career, Anderson won a 2013 special election to replace Billy Broomfield and was sworn in on his 22nd birthday, becoming the youngest member of the Mississippi Legislature. He was re-elected in 2015. He ran for the U.S. House in 2018 in Mississippi’s 4th District, won the Democratic primary unopposed, but lost in the general election to Steven Palazzo. He announced a 2021 run for mayor of Moss Point but lost in the primary to Billy Knight. In 2017, he led efforts to review the state education budget formula.
