Jeff Crank is an American politician and radio host who has been the U.S. representative for Colorado’s 5th district since 2025. He was born on January 28, 1967, in Pueblo, Colorado, and earned a BA in political science from Colorado State University. He also hosts The Jeff Crank Show on KVOR.

Crank’s career includes time as a congressional staffer for Rep. Joel Hefley from 1991 to 1998, eventually becoming administrative director. He then worked at the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce, rising to Senior Vice President before leaving in 2006. He has been active in Republican politics, serving as chairman of the 5th Congressional District GOP Central Committee (2001 and 2003), and holding roles with the Colorado Emergency Planning Commission and El Paso County Citizens Corps Council. He was El Paso County co-chair for George W. Bush’s 2004 re-election campaign and served on the Colorado State Republican Central Committee.

From 2009 to 2013 he was the Colorado State Director for Americans for Prosperity, then started his political consulting firm, Aegis Strategic. Crank ran for Colorado’s 5th District in 2006 and 2008 but lost in the Republican primaries to Doug Lamborn. He ran again in 2024 to replace the retiring Lamborn and won, taking office in January 2025.

Crank lives in Colorado Springs with his wife Lisa and their two children.
