Prades is a small commune in southern France, in the Ardèche department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It is part of the Largentière arrondissement and the Haute-Ardèche canton.

The area covers 19.79 square kilometers, with terrain ranging from 243 to 750 meters above sea level. In 2023, about 1,195 people lived there, giving a density of around 122 residents per square kilometer.

The current mayor is Alain Valette, serving the term 2022–2026. The time zone is CET (UTC+1) and CEST (UTC+2) in summer. In Occitan, Prades is called Pradas.
