Józef Panuś
Józef Panuś (born 22 February 1963) is a Polish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He began his career with local clubs, including Dalin Myślenice, before being transferred to GKS Tychy in 1986 for a deal reportedly worth two tonnes of coal. He later played in the Ekstraklasa for Zagłębie Sosnowiec, making 17 appearances between 1991 and 1992, before a serious injury paused his playing career. He eventually returned to football in the lower divisions with teams such as Dalin Myślenice and Sokół Borzęta, and he also worked as a manager at several clubs (Tempo Rzeszotary, Karpaty Siepraw, Pcimianka Pcim, Gościb Sułkowice, Hejnał Krzyszkowice, Sokół Borzęta).
Beyond football, Panuś has been a reality television personality, a musician (accordion), and an entrepreneur in wood carpentry and sculpture. He also works as a conservator. He regained wider fame in 2021 by appearing on Ninja Warrior Poland, where he performed with his accordion, a skill he has had since his youth.
