Jason Rogers (born March 13, 1988) is an American former professional baseball first baseman. He played in Major League Baseball for the Milwaukee Brewers and Pittsburgh Pirates, and in Nippon Professional Baseball for the Hanshin Tigers. He also spent time in the Mexican League, Australia’s baseball league, and various independent leagues.

Rogers grew up in East Point, Georgia, and played college baseball at Columbus State University. The Milwaukee Brewers drafted him in the 32nd round of the 2010 MLB draft. In 2013 he was named the Brewers’ Minor League Player of the Year after hitting .270 with 22 home runs. He was added to Milwaukee’s 40-man roster after that season and worked mainly at first base, adding third base as a secondary position before 2014.

He made his MLB debut with the Brewers on September 2, 2014. In 2015 he hit his first major league home run on May 9 off Phil Coke of the Cubs and his second on June 9 off Francisco Liriano. In 86 games that year he batted .296 with 4 home runs and 16 RBIs.

On December 17, 2015, Rogers was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates. He struggled to find playing time in 2016 and was designated for assignment in December 2016; he was released by the Pirates in June 2017 after starting the year in Triple-A.

Rogers then signed with the Hanshin Tigers of Japan in July 2017, where he hit .252 with 5 home runs and 23 RBIs in one season.

After Japan, Rogers played across various leagues. He spent time with teams in the American Association and Atlantic League, including the Kansas City T-Bones, New Britain Bees, and Gastonia Honey Hunters, as well as a stint with the Sydney Blue Sox in Australia. He also played for Algodoneros de Unión Laguna in Mexico and had multiple moves between Lincoln Saltdogs and Gastonia in 2023 before becoming a free agent after the season.
