Jamaica Open
Jamaica Open
The Jamaica Open is a golf tournament held in Jamaica. It began in 1953 at Tryall Golf Club, a par-72 course. From 1958 to 1963 it was part of the Caribbean Tour, attracting many top American players.
The event was held every year until 1995, when sponsorship problems caused a 10-year break. It came back in 2006, then ran from 2008 to 2012. After a brief pause, the 50th Jamaica Open was played in 2017 and has continued annually since.
Current champion: Andrew Arft.
