Jadar Museum
Jadar Museum (Serbian: Музеј Јадра) is a history museum in Loznica, Serbia. It is housed in the Old Pharmacy Building, a cultural monument of great importance. In 1984, the Loznica Municipal Assembly decided to turn the Old Pharmacy into the city museum. The museum opened on 14 September 1987 to honor 200 years of Vuk Stefanović Karadžić. The permanent collection covers human activity in the Loznica area and the Podrinje region from prehistoric times up to 1950. It includes about 171 archaeological items, 410 ethnological pieces, 516 historical objects, 195 coins, and more than 1,500 documents and photos. In addition to the permanent display, the museum hosts about 10 temporary exhibitions each year, lasting 10 to 12 days. Address: Pašićeva 25, 15300 Loznica, Serbia.
