Jackson Township, Franklin County, Ohio
Jackson Township is in the southern part of Franklin County, Ohio. It is one of 17 townships in the county, and much of it has been annexed by nearby cities. The township covers about 35.7 square miles, mostly land, and had about 46,559 residents in 2020.

Jackson Township is governed by a three-member board of trustees who are elected to four-year terms. Elections take place in November of odd-numbered years: two trustees are elected the year after a presidential election, and one is elected the year before it. There is also a township fiscal officer elected to a four-year term beginning on April 1 after the election held in November before a presidential election. If a vacancy occurs on the board or in the fiscal officer position, the remaining trustees fill it.
