Sharps Creek Site
Sharps Creek Site (14MP408), also called Swenson Site (14MP301), is an archaeological site in Lindsborg, Kansas. It is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places (NRHP reference number 72001450) and was added on June 22, 1972. A magnetic gradiometer survey has been conducted at the site. The site was occupied from about 1500 to 1800. In 1915, a professor from nearby Bethany College found Spanish chain mail there, which led to the naming of Coronado Heights, a large hill located a few miles northeast of the site.
