Howard-Royal House
The Howard-Royal House is a historic home in Salemburg, North Carolina, at 202 North Main Street. Built in 1892, it is a two-story, frame dwelling with three bays by one bay and a rear ell, topped by a gable roof. A central two-tier porch is flanked by two-story octagonal bay windows. The property also includes a contributing shed. The house occupies less than an acre and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 17, 1986 (reference number 86000561).
