Holiday Ranch
Holiday Ranch is a Canadian TV country-music variety show that aired on CBC from 1953 to 1958. Over five seasons, each 60-minute episode featured regulars visiting a ranch house set. The show was hosted by Cliff McKay and Frannie Wright, and produced by Loyd Brydon and Bob Jarvis. It started on weeknights and later aired weekly on Saturday nights before Hockey Night in Canada. The production cost was about $5,000 per episode. It was one of the most popular Canadian TV programs in the 1950s.
