Hirokawa Bosai Dam
Hirokawa Bosai Dam is a rockfill dam in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Completed in 1972, it helps with flood control and irrigation. The dam is 30.4 meters high and 132.1 meters long. It creates a reservoir that covers about 12 hectares and can store up to 990,000 cubic meters of water. The catchment area feeding the dam is 9.4 square kilometers.
