Hind Rafic al-Hariri, born in 1984 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is the youngest child of Lebanese businessman and politician Rafic Hariri. She studied at the Lebanese American University in Beirut and supported her half-brother Saad Hariri in Lebanese elections. In 2008, Forbes named her one of the world’s youngest billionaires.

She married Mohammad Anas Al Karout in 2009. They have two sons, Mohammad (born 2010) and Rafik (born December 2011).

In 2018, reports suggested she was involved in a plan to relocate Lycée Abdel Kader School and sell the property to build a mall; protests by students, parents, and teachers followed.
