Hidden Kisses is a 2016 French TV film about two high schoolers, Nathan and Louis, who fall in love while facing prejudice. Nathan's father, Stéphane, a policeman, struggles to accept that his son is gay. After Nathan kisses Louis at a party, a photo leaks and Nathan is bullied. Louis initially denies being gay, and his relationship with his girlfriend Laura adds to the confusion. Teachers try to help, but the bullies continue to harass Nathan and Louis. Louis’s parents eventually discover the truth and punish him; he runs away and even contemplates suicide, but Nathan and Stéphane rescue him. Louis’s mother confronts his father, insisting they change and accept him. The family moves to a new home, Louis keeps boxing, and the two boys are supported by friends and mentors. In the end, Nathan and Louis share a kiss at a boxing event, showing they will face the world together, even if their fathers remain distant.
