Henry Fox Purdy (17 January 1883 – 17 February 1943) was an English cricketer who played for Derbyshire from 1906 to 1919.

Born in Brimington, Derbyshire (his birth was registered as Henry Fox), Purdy was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast-medium bowler. His uncle, John Purdy, also played for Derbyshire.

He made his first-class debut on 12 July 1906 against Nottinghamshire, taking a wicket in each innings. His best bowling that season was 6–84 against Northamptonshire. After playing a few games in 1907 and 1908, he returned after World War I for two matches in 1919 against Yorkshire.

In 16 first-class matches, Purdy scored 179 runs at an average of 6.53, with a top score of 21. He bowled 1,429 balls, taking 26 wickets at an average of 25.42, with best figures of 6–84 and one five-wicket haul. He also took 5 catches.

He died at Newbold, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, aged 60.
