Henge (band)
Henge is a British rock band from Manchester, formed in 2015. They describe their sound as Cosmic Dross, a blend of electronic and rock, and perform in character as Zpor, Goo, Sol, and Nom. Their first release was the five-track EP Cosmic Dross in July 2017 on Love Love Records. Their debut album, Attention Earth!, came out on 19 October 2018. From 2019 they teamed up with Tom Eglington, Boo Cook and Phil Buckenham to make a series of comics about the band, with issues published in September 2019, September 2021 and October 2023. Before Henge, Sam and Matthew played in The Whiskycats. They are festival favorites and won Live Act of the Year at the 2018 Independent Festival Awards in Sheffield. In 2022 they won silver in Best Music Video at the Tokyo Film Awards for the video to "New Planet."
