Riverbank Studios
Riverbank Studios is an independent film production company based in New Delhi, India. It was founded in 1973 by Mike Pandey, a filmmaker and conservationist, and was one of North India’s first film studios. The company makes feature films, advertisements, and television series, handling filming on location as well as post-production. Its focus is on wildlife films that promote conservation and awareness.
The studio has expanded into online content, producing their first 360-degree film about a Nature Reserve in India. In 2017, they created two films for Animal Planet India—Looking for Sultan and Gyamo: Queen of the Mountains—that were well received and also aired on Discovery India. Notable works include The Last Migration, Shores of Silence, Vanishing Giants, Timeless Traveller, and Earth Matters. Key people are Mike Pandey, Gautam Pandey, and Doel Trivedi.
