Helsingin Kisa-Toverit (HKT) is a Finnish sports club from Helsinki, founded in 1929. It has many sports sections, with basketball and track and field being its strongest.

Basketball
HKT’s basketball team has played in Finland’s top league for many seasons, with a league record of 504 wins and 300 losses. The club won five Finnish championships between 1961 and 1965, plus five silver medals and two bronze medals. The men’s team also won the national Cup in 1969–70.

In European play, HKT reached the quarterfinals of the 1963–64 FIBA European Champions Cup, where they were eliminated by Simmenthal Milano. In the 1964–65 season they faced Real Madrid in the round of 16, losing 109–100 in Helsinki.

Five HKT players were on Finland’s basketball team at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics: Martti Liimo, Kari Liimo, Raimo Vartia, Pertti Laanti and Teijo Finneman.

Women’s basketball
HKT’s women’s team played in the Naisten Korisliiga for four seasons and won the Finnish Championship in 1967. They earned a bronze medal in 1966.

Baseball
HKT also had a baseball section, winning two TUL championships in 1932 and 1935. The club produced notable players such as Alpo Savolainen and Ensio Vuorinen.
