Erateina
Erateina is a genus of day-flying moths in the Geometridae family, placed in the Larentiinae subfamily. It was established by Edward Doubleday in 1848 and includes about 85 described species. Members have long, elongate hindwings with a distinctive shape, including a special anal lobe in males. They lack a frenulum in both sexes. Erateina moths are mainly found in the Neotropical region, typically in montane cloud forests.
