Helcystogramma fernaldella
Helcystogramma fernaldella, Fernald's helcystogramma moth, is a small moth in the Gelechiidae family. It was described by August Busck in 1903. The species is found in North America—from Alaska and Yukon through Alberta and across Canada into the northern United States, reaching New Brunswick and New England. It lives in fields, meadows and grasslands. The wingspan is about 16–18 mm. Adults mainly fly from May to July. The larvae feed on various grasses, and the species overwinters as a larva.
