Haunted House (EP)
Haunted House is the third EP by the Australian electronic duo Knife Party. It was released on May 5, 2013, by Earstorm Records and Big Beat Records. The EP runs 18 minutes and 51 seconds and includes electro house and dubstep tracks, produced by Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen. It sits between Rage Valley (2012) and Abandon Ship (2014) in Knife Party’s releases.
Announcement came via Twitter on August 8, 2012. On April 16, 2013, Knife Party said they would replace the track "Baghdad" with a VIP mix of "Internet Friends." The artwork was revealed on April 27 via Facebook. US pre-orders began April 27, with a release date set for May 6. The EP leaked on April 29, but the leak of "Power Glove" had the sub bass pitched too low. On May 5, 2013, the EP was available to stream on YouTube and SoundCloud, and digital and CD copies were released on May 6.
The track "Power Glove" reached #38 on the Scottish Singles Chart and #43 on the UK Singles Chart on May 12, 2013.
