Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi
Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language comedy directed by Mudassar Aziz. It is the sequel to Happy Bhag Jayegi and stars Diana Penty as Happy, along with Sonakshi Sinha, Jimmy Sheirgill, Ali Fazal, Piyush Mishra, Jassi Gill and Aparshakti Khurrana. It was released on 24 August 2018 to mixed reviews.
Plot: The story moves to Shanghai, where a new Happy is mistaken for the original Happy. The impostor is kidnapped by goons who want a contract. Meanwhile, the original Happy and her husband Guddu travel to Shanghai for a concert and find themselves in a city full of confusion. Happy 2 hides with Khushi, who works at the Indian embassy, and with help from Bagga and Usman they try to locate Happy 2’s fiancé Aman Wadhwa, who vanished two years earlier. They discover that Adnan Chow is the mastermind behind the kidnapping and wants the contract. After a series of chases and misunderstandings, Happy 2 is saved, Aman’s situation is resolved, and Adnan is caught by the police. In the end, Happy 2 reunites with her father, and Khushi and Bagga develop feelings for her while Guddu and the others help. The film ends on a light note with a concert and laughter.
Soundtrack: The music is by Sohail Sen and includes a recreated version of the classic song Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu.
