Handbuch der Nordsemitischen Epigraphik, nebst ausgewählten Inschriften was a two-volume reference work by Mark Lidzbarski on Canaanite and Aramaic inscriptions, published in 1898. It was an early, influential guide to Semitic epigraphy. The handbook collected texts, readings, references, and selected facsimiles. It was later surpassed by newer standard corpora such as Kanaanäische und Aramäische Inschriften (KAI) and the Textbook of Aramaic Documents from Ancient Egypt (TADAE) for Egyptian Aramaic. Like the Répertoire d'Épigraphie Sémitique (RES), which complemented the CIS, Lidzbarski published further works related to the Handbuch.
