Hakuto jelly
Hakuto jelly, or Hakuto peach jelly, is a seasonal summer dessert from Japan. It is made from the juice of ripe Hakuto peaches from Okayama and mineral-rich spring water. The texture is very smooth and soft, like the fruit itself, with a light peach aroma and flavor. It often comes in a peach-shaped container and can be cut into cubes or eaten with a spoon. It’s best served cold. The taste varies a little each year because the peaches change with the season, and the jelly tends to be pricey due to the high-quality peaches used.
