Pamphilius is a genus of leaf-rolling sawflies in the family Pamphiliidae, part of the order Hymenoptera. Adults are about 10–15 mm long and are usually black with yellow spots on the head. Legs are yellow and the wings are transparent. Tarsal claws have one apical and one subapical tooth, and the mandibles are large and sickle-shaped. Adults are active from May to June.
Larvae may be solitary or form colonies and feed mainly on deciduous trees. Primary host plants are in the Rosaceae and Betulaceae families; other hosts include Salicaceae, Aceraceae, Caprifoliaceae, Fagaceae, Cornaceae and Juglandaceae.
Pamphilius species are found in North America and Eurasia, often in hedge rows. The genus contains about 115 species.
