Guangdong Shantou Overseas Middle School is a historic middle school located in Jinping District, Shantou, Guangdong, China. It began in 1932 as Shantou Haibin Normal School and later changed names several times. Since 1986 it has been officially known as Guangdong Shantou Overseas Middle School. The school is recognized as a national demonstration high school and is one of the oldest overseas middle schools in China. Its motto is: be ambitious, be strict, be steady, and be moral.
