Greenville Commercial Historic District (Greenville, Mississippi)
Greenville Commercial Historic District is a 7.3-acre historic area in Greenville, Mississippi, along Main Street from Walnut to Poplar Streets. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. The district includes 12 contributing buildings, mainly on the 200 block of Main Street, plus 300 Main Street and 200, 206, and 211 Walnut Street. Notable structures are the Old Delta Democrat Times Building (c. 1880) at 201–203 Main Street and the First National Bank of Greenville (1903), designed by Barber & Klutz; both are separately listed on the NRHP. The district features Italianate, Romanesque, and Classical Revival architecture, with Barber & Klutz and other architects involved.
