Gongo Primary School

Gongo Primary School is a public, co-educational day school in Central Gem ward, Siaya County, Kenya. About 625 pupils study there in 11 classrooms. The school has a high student-to-teacher ratio, with roughly 48 students for every teacher. Pupils prepare for the KCPE exams, and most meet the marks needed to go on to secondary school. To help with the large number of students qualifying for secondary education, Gongo Primary helped start Gongo Warom Secondary School nearby.
