George Townshend (priest)
George Townshend was an Anglican priest in Ireland. He studied at Hertford College, Oxford, and was ordained in 1906. He served as a curate in Booterstown and as an incumbent in Ahascragh. He became Archdeacon of Clonfert and Kilmacduagh in 1933, a role he held until 1947.
