George Lincoln Thompson (November 22, 1864 – September 1, 1941) was a Republican politician from New York. He was born in Smithtown, New York, the son of Richmond Ansel Thompson and Annie Elizabeth Handshaw Thompson. He married Lottie F. Scott on June 12, 1894.

Thompson served in the New York State Assembly (Suffolk County, 2nd District) in 1909, 1910 and 1912, and was Chairman of the Committee on Public Institutions in 1912. He then represented the 1st District in the New York State Senate from 1915 until his death in 1941, participating in the 138th through the 163rd New York State Legislatures. He died of a heart attack at his home in Kings Park, New York, and was buried in the Episcopal Church Graveyard in St. James, New York.
