Jackie Hood
John O'Dorman "Jackie" Hood (born 8 January 1938) is a Scottish former footballer who played as a centre forward. Born in Glasgow, he started with Shettleston before turning professional. He was with Everton from 1956 to 1959 but did not make a league appearance; he did win the Liverpool Senior Cup with Everton's reserve team in 1957. Hood then played for Tranmere Rovers (1959–1960), making 3 league appearances and scoring 2 goals, and East Fife (1960–1961) with 11 appearances and 4 goals. He also played for St. Roch's. He is the older brother of former Celtic forward Harry Hood.
