GA Telesis is a private American aviation company based in Fort Lauderdale. It provides aftermarket services such as component sales, aircraft maintenance, and aviation finance.

The company was founded on April 10, 2002, by Abdol Moabery and George E. Batchelor. Batchelor died soon after the start, and Moabery remains the CEO. Ownership is split among Tokyo Century Corporation (49.2%), Abdol Moabery (40.8%), and All Nippon Airways (10%).

GA Telesis’s name comes from the founders’ initials (G and A for George Batchelor and Abdol Moabery) with “Telesis” chosen to symbolize deliberate progress.

Key milestones include:
- 2007: Merrill Lynch invested for about 49% but Moabery kept control.
- 2011: Acquired Ultimate Aircraft Composites to repair and make composite parts.
- 2013: Expanded into engine repair via part of Finnair’s Engine Services and formed GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES).
- 2012: Partnered with Air China to create GA Innovation China for trading used aircraft.

In 2014, GA Telesis joined Boeing’s parts marketplace, becoming a preferred partner for on-ground repairs, freighter conversions, and engine programs. This broadened their access to airframes and engine parts across many models.

Financial growth came with two investment funds: GA Telesis Aviation Investments (GAIN) raised $500 million by 2014, and GAIN 2 raised another $500 million in 2017. By 2019, revenue topped $1 billion.

Honeywell partnerships powered expansion:
- 2020: A three-year parts distribution deal made GA Telesis the exclusive global distributor for the CFM56-5B bleed screw (excluding China), and the Distribution Solutions Group was created.
- 2023: The collaboration expanded to exclusive rights for Flex Shafts and other components. A seven-year agreement also involved supplying bleed screws upgrades from the Helsinki GATES facility.
- 2023: GA Telesis was named Honeywell’s Global Channel Partner of the Year for its global distribution role.

GA Telesis also expanded its engine and SPAH (Special Procedures AeroEngine Hospital) capabilities:
- 2020: Opened SPAH in Helsinki.
- 2021: Partnered with ATSG to build a SPAH at Wilmington, Ohio.
- 2024: The Wilmington SPAH received FAA and EASA certification.

Legal and geopolitical notes:
- 2021: Sued Salesforce alongside Constant Aviation over data usage and intellectual property concerns.
- 2022: Sanctions related to the Russia-Ukraine conflict affected some operations, including leases of two Airbus A319s to Rossiya Airlines.
- 2023: Reached a settlement with NSK regarding the Russian assets, releasing Rossiya and Aeroflot from claims.

In 2025, GA Telesis acquired AAR Corp’s landing gear business.
