Géraldine Carré (15 September 1969 – 3 May 2024) was a French journalist and television presenter. She also did voice work for documentaries and advertisements, and in 1998 she co‑authored a book about motherhood with Alix Girod de l’Ain. Born in Lyon, she studied modern literature and earned a national diploma. She began in journalism with Agence France-Presse in 1988 and worked as a freelance reporter in Lyon. Her radio career started in 1990 on Europe 2, where she hosted Sortir and Vas-y, moi j’en viens, and she also worked briefly for Europe 1. In 1994 she moved to television, hosting Tout-Paris on Paris Première and later appearing on TF1, France 2 and Canal+. She hosted Confessions intimes on TF1 (2001–2003) and La vie en clair on Canal+ (2003–2004). She was married to Patrick Bauer and had four children. Carré lived in Mallorca, Spain, where she died of cancer in May 2024 at age 54.
