Franky, real name Cutty Flam, is a fictional character from One Piece. Created by Eiichiro Oda, he is the eighth member of the Straw Hat Pirates and serves as the crew’s shipwright. He first appears in the series in Chapter 329, published in 2004.

Origin and build
- Abandoned by his parents at age ten, Cutty Flam was taken in by the shipwright Tom, who trained him and helped him dream of building his own ship.
- When Tom faced danger from the World Government, Franky was badly injured while defending him. He rebuilt his body using scrap metal, becoming a cola-powered cyborg known as “Cyborg Franky.”
