Fortia AB
Fortia AB was a Swedish government-owned holding company and part of the National Wealth Fund. It was established in 1990 to promote Sweden’s industrial development by owning stakes in several large companies, such as Celsius Industrier AB, FFV AB, LKAB, NcB AB, Procordia AB (including its stake in Pharmacia AB), AB Statens Skogsindustrier (ASSI), SSAB Svenskt Stål, Sveriges Geologiska AB (SGAB), Cementa AB, and SIB-Invest AB. When Fortia was wound down in 1991, some of these holdings were transferred to Stattum.
