Filip Lăzăreanu
Filip Lăzăreanu (born 5 July 1981 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania) is a Romanian former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He spent most of his career in Romania, with notable spells in Hungary and England.
Starting at Universitatea Cluj (1998–2001), he went on to play for CFR Cluj, Armătura Zalău, Bihor Oradea, Petrolul Ploiești, Nyíregyháza Spartacus (Hungary), Kecskemét (Hungary), Botoșani, Gloria Bistrița, UTA Arad and Whitehawk (England). He later had a long period with Sănătatea Cluj (2016–2021), making 106 league appearances. In total, Lăzăreanu accumulated 271 league appearances and scored no goals.
His father, Marcel Lăzăreanu, was also a goalkeeper. Filip Lăzăreanu stands 1.81 meters tall.
After retiring from playing, he worked as a goalkeeper coach for Sănătatea Cluj in 2022–2023.
