Fenwick, South Yorkshire
Fenwick is a small village and civil parish in the City of Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England, near the border with North Yorkshire. It sits about 6 metres above sea level. The population was 121 at the 2011 census, up from 113 in 2001. The River Went forms its northern boundary. The name Fenwick comes from Old English fennwīc, meaning a trading settlement on the fen. Fenwick was part of the West Riding of Yorkshire until 1974.
