Fawaz Al-Khater

Fawaz Daoud Sultan Abdullah Al-Khater (born September 27, 1981) is a Qatari football defender. He started in the Al Arabi youth system (1993–2001) and then played for several clubs: Al Arabi (2001–2008), Umm Salal (2009–2011), on loan to Lekhwiya in 2010, El Jaish (2011–2013), and Muaither (2013–2014). He has one international appearance for Qatar in 2002. He is the brother of Nayef Al Khater and cousin of Meshal Mubarak. Fawaz and his brother Naif began with gymnastics after school before turning to football with guidance from Meshal Mubarak. He is 1.77 meters tall.
