Far Eastern University – Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation
Far Eastern University – Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU-NRMF) is a private, non-profit medical school and teaching hospital in Quezon City, Philippines. It operates independently but is connected to Far Eastern University.
History and growth
- FEU-NRMF started in 1952 as the Institute of Medicine and became FEU-NRMF in 1971.
- In 1995, it moved to a 1.5-hectare site in West Fairview, Quezon City, with a new campus and hospital.
- The FEU-NRMF Institute of Medicine continues alongside other health programs, and the school has expanded to offer several undergraduate and postgraduate health programs.
- In 2024, FEU-NRMF was granted Autonomous Status by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

FEU-NRMF Medical Center
- The FEU-NRMF Medical Center is a Level 3 university hospital located on the FEU campus, with about 300 beds, 10 clinical departments, 10 residency programs, and 6 fellowship programs.
- It is recognized as a PhilHealth Center of Excellence and a Center of Excellence in Research by the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD).
Recent developments
- In 2023, Healthway Medical Network (the hospital and clinics arm of Ayala Healthcare Holdings) formed a partnership to manage the FEU-NRMF Medical Center for up to 24 months starting January 2024, with a plan for a 35-year lease to gradually transfer full operations.
