BatBox is the second solo studio album by French singer and DJ Miss Kittin. It was released on February 4, 2008 on her own label, Nobody’s Bizzness, and runs about 51 minutes. The album was co-written and produced with Pascal Gabriel.

Musically, BatBox blends techno and electro with a touch of goth, drawing on electropop and Detroit techno influences. Miss Kittin has described the project as a kind of redemption, saying the title means letting go of old ghosts. Recording happened in 2007 at Gabriel’s studio in London.

The cover and booklet were designed by Rob Reger, creator of Emily the Strange. The album spawned two singles: “Kittin Is High” (released November 30, 2007) and “Grace” (June 20, 2008). The track “Barefoot Tonight” was used in the TV show Entourage.

All lyrics were written by Caroline Hervé (Miss Kittin) and Pascal Gabriel. Critics gave mixed to positive reviews. Some praised the production and hooks and saw it as a solid evolution, while others felt the album stayed firmly within a niche electroclash style and didn’t broaden Miss Kittin’s appeal.
