2019 Horizon League women's basketball tournament
The 2019 Horizon League women's basketball tournament, also known as Motor City Madness, was held March 5–12, 2019. Eight teams competed, seeded by their conference records with tiebreakers for identical records. First-round games were at campus sites, while the semifinals and final took place at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Wright State won the title (their second Horizon League championship) by defeating Green Bay in the final, earning the league’s automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA tournament. The winning coach was Katrina Merriweather (her first Horizon League title), and the tournament MVP was Michal Miller of Wright State.
