She won races at Leiden Gouden Spike and Singelloop Utrecht and also won the Cross Internacional de la Constitución.

In 2019 she finished fifth at the Kenyan Cross Country Championships, then placed eighth at the World Cross Country Championships, helping Kenya to a team silver. She won the Würzburger Residenzlauf road race, lowered her 5000m best to 14:40.25 in London, and competed at the Memorial Van Damme Diamond League final. She ended the year by winning Singelloop Utrecht and Cross Internacional de la Constitución again.
