Eucereon metoidesis
Eucereon metoidesis is a moth in the subfamily Arctiinae. It belongs to the family Erebidae, in the order Lepidoptera (the moths and butterflies). The species was first described by Hampson in 1905, and its binomial name is Eucereon metoidesis. Some other names used for this species include Eucereon metoedesis (Zerny, 1912), Eucereon metoidesis romani (Bryk, 1953), and Eucereon theophanes (Schaus, 1924). It is found in Brazil and Guyana.
