Estonia 21
Estonia 21 is a famous Estonian racing car from the 1980s. It was designed by Raul Sarap and built by Tallinna Autode Remondi Katsetehas. Inspired by the Lotus 81, it used ground effects to go faster. The car was made from 1981 to 1991, with the 21-M version appearing from 1985. It ran on a VAZ 2105 1,294 cc engine, delivering about 85 horsepower (some newer versions around 110 hp) and could reach around 210 km/h. The car weighed 435 kg, including the driver. Four prototypes were built and about 295 Estonia 21-M cars were produced. It raced in the Cup of Peace and Friendship as well as in Soviet Formula 2 and Soviet Formula 3.
