Municipality of La Floresta
La Floresta is a municipality in Uruguay’s Canelones Department. It was created on March 15, 2010, and its seat is the town of La Floresta. It covers 65.5 square kilometers and had 7,310 residents in 2011. The area is in the southeast of the department and is known for tourism, with spa towns along the Río de la Plata. The mayor is Duilio Erramouspe (FA). It includes the CLB and CLC constituencies.
