Eric Devon Vance (born July 14, 1975) is a former American NFL defensive back. He grew up in Tampa, Florida, attended L. D. Bell High School in Hurst, Texas, and played college football at Vanderbilt. He signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 1997 and later played for the San Diego Chargers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Indianapolis Colts from 1997 to 2002, recording 29 tackles in his NFL career. After retiring, Vance worked in player development for the Buccaneers and, in 2013, joined the University of Miami as assistant director of Football Operations under coach Al Golden. He also served as the defensive coordinator at his alma mater, L. D. Bell High School. He is currently the head coach of the Keller Central High School Chargers football team.
