Erbil District (Kurdish: قەزای ھەولێر, romanized Qezay Hewlêr; Arabic: قضاء أربيل) is a district in the Erbil Governorate in Iraq, within the Kurdistan Region. It centers on the city of Erbil and includes three sub-districts—Ankawa, Behirke, and Shamamek—and 379 villages. The time zone is UTC+3 (Arabia Standard Time).
