Rushan Minnegulov
Rushan Minnegulov is a Russian biathlete and cross-country skier who competes in events for athletes with disabilities. He represented Russia at the Winter Paralympics in 2010 (Vancouver) and 2014 (Sochi). At Sochi, he won three medals: gold in the men’s 20-kilometre standing cross-country skiing, silver in the men’s 1-kilometre sprint classic, and gold in the 4×2.5-kilometre open relay. In 2013, Minnegulov won gold in the open team relay at the IPC World Championships in Sollefteå, Sweden. At the 2021 World Para Snow Sports Championships in Lillehammer, he earned silver medals in both the men’s long-distance standing cross-country event and the men’s sprint standing cross-country event. Minnegulov is a living Russian Paralympic medalist in biathlon and cross-country skiing.
