Elaine Farquharson-Black (born Elaine Farquharson on 21 March 1968 in Aberdeen) is a Scottish amateur golfer. She had success as a junior, reaching the Girls Amateur Championship finals in 1984 and 1985, and winning the Scottish Girls Championship in 1985. She also played for Scotland in the Girls Home Internationals, helping the team win in 1984.

In women’s golf, she won the Helen Holm Scottish Women’s Open Championship in 1987 and the Scottish Women’s Amateur Championship in 1990 (finishing as runner-up in 1992). She reached the final of the 1989 Ladies’ British Open Amateur Championship but lost to Helen Dobson.

Farquharson-Black played for Great Britain & Ireland in the Curtis Cup in 1990 (the U.S. won 14–4; she lost all four matches) and in 1992 (GB&I won 10–8; she won one singles match). She also competed in the Vagliano Trophy (1989, 1991) and the Commonwealth Trophy (1991). She won the 1989 World Amateur Fourball Championship with Helen Dobson in Brazil.

She turned professional after the 1992 Curtis Cup to play on the Women’s Professional Golfers’ European Tour but had limited success. She returned to amateur status in late 1994 and played again as an amateur from 1997, including being part of the winning Scottish team at the Women’s Home Internationals in 1998. She was the non-playing captain of the Curtis Cup team in 2016 and 2018.

Personal life: She is the daughter of Colin and Ethel Farquharson and married Jonathan Black in 1993, adopting the name Elaine Farquharson-Black.
