El Salvador–Honduras relations

El Salvador and Honduras have long-standing relations rooted in their shared history as parts of the Spanish Empire. El Salvador has an embassy in Tegucigalpa and consulates in Choluteca and San Pedro Sula, while Honduras has an embassy in San Salvador. Both countries are members of the Central American Integration System (SICA), the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), the Organization of American States (OAS), and the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI).
